Summer Book Club: All the Stars Denied

Join MACRI and the San Antonio Public Library for a free virtual book club featuring the YA novel All the Stars Denied by Guadalupe Garcia McCall! We will be joined by the author and historian Dr. Francisco Balderrama for a conversation about this story set in Texas during the Great Depression and follows the lives of a Mexican American family impacted by forced repatriations of Mexicans to Mexico regardless of their citizenship. Copies of the book will be available to check out from SAPL in advance!
