As we get ready for Fiestas Patrias, join us for a conversation on how memories of the US-Mexico War shaped Mexican Americans' civil rights struggles since 1848. Historian Omar Valerio Jiménez will discuss his new book, Remembering Conquest: Mexican Americans, Memory, and Citizenship. Books will be available for purchase and signing. Light refreshments will be served.
