Learn about the remarkable life of Jovita Idar, a civil rights trailblazer, journalist, nurse, educator, and translator at this free day-long symposium. 

The symposium will feature panels exploring Jovita's impact on journalism, education, and how we understand the history of the Texas-Mexican border. The Symposium will live stream from San Antonio, Texas!
