About the event
The San Antonio African American Community Archive and Museum, the Smith College Club of San Antonio, the Mexican American Civil Rights Institute, and Texas Public Radio present: A Conversation with Two Presidents.
Dr. Ruth Simmons, past president of Smith College, Brown, and Prairie View A&M Universities, and Dr. Adena Loston, president of St. Philip's College, come together for an incredible evening to discuss their journey to leadership. Dr. Simmon's book, UP HOME: ONE GIRL'S JOURNEY, and Dr. Loston's book, THE ARK OF MY LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCES, will be available for purchase and signing by the authors.
The discussion at 7:00 PM is free of charge. Registration is required.
There will be a pre-discussion reception with our distinguished guests at 5:30 PM.
